I have recently needed help looking for a reputable house following my 90 day detox / rehabilitation stay. I am a Paramedic and no arrest record… so, I was worried about having to “settle” for 4 walls, NO AC, dirty living conditions, or any other 1980’s horror movie hotel… I found a blessing in this diamond in the rough! I found a “home” at Amended Recovery House! It is Clean, calm,cool, and comfortable! Both owners are personable and make this house a HOME for me! I stayed in a couple Hilton hotels while looking for a house and I have to say… the houses are nicer than those $200 hotel stays… the only thing missing is a pool. My son entered this sober living home and environment not long ago and I can say that he is doing so well and I see such a miraculous change in his attitude and lifestyle and desire to continue this path that has been set before him. Ty, the gentleman that leads these men is very hands on making sure they are cared for providing shelter, encouragement, kindness and directing them to become solid in their sobriety walk. He has house meetings to keep moral up and keeps them focused on getting along, he expects them to attend meetings outside the home many times taking them himself and conducts occasional drug and alcohol testing. His desire is to see each man become all that he can be so when they go back into society they can stand for the good that they all really have inside but just needs to be helped along the way to function a clean and sober life so when the storms come, and they will, they will make the decision to stay focused on a better life. Thank you Ty for all you do for all of these men. You are appreciated!!!!
